How do I Save/Load a Notebook Using my USB Flash Drive?

IMPORTANT!  The Pathfinder battery charger must be plugged in before you transfer any Notebooks.

You can save your Notebooks onto your Flash Drive or SD Card or transfer text files from your computer to a Pathfinder Notebook using the Flash Drive or SD Card. You can open the Notebook on your computer and use a word processing program to add to/edit the text in your Notebook, if you wish. When you reload the Notebook from your computer into your Pathfinder, the Notebook will contain whatever changes you made to it.

To save or load a Notebook using the Flash Drive or SD Card  you must first tell the Pathfinder what method you want to use for the transfer.

1.  Connect the USB memory device to the rectangular USB port on the left side of the Pathfinder case. Plug the other end into the USB port on your computer.  OR slide your SD Card into the card slot on the top of the Pathfinder. The slot has the letters "SD" near it with an arrow pointing to the slot.

2.  Select the STATUS button twice.
