Lesson 19: Copy Files for the MP3 Player

The Essence Tutorial contains more than 20 lessons. "Copy Files for the MP3 Player" is the 19th lesson, and will assist you in creating music files that will work with Essence.
The device MP3 player will play music files. These files must be in .mp3, .wav, or .wma format. The following directions are for converting files from a music CD to the correct format for your device. These instructions are for Win Media Player Version 9.
1. Put a music CD in the CD drive of your Essence PRO or other computer.
2. Copy music from the CD using Windows Media Player.
3. Do not add copy protection.
4. Check the box "I understand…"
5. Click "Next."
6. Check "Keep my current format settings."
7. Select "Finish."
8. Windows Media Player starts copying. You can uncheck boxes of songs you do not want to copy.
9. The song copies go into a new folder in the My Music folder in My Documents. These .wma files will play in your device MP3 player.
