Lesson 14: Swap Keys

The Essence Tutorial contains more than 20 lessons. "Swap Key" is the 14th lesson, and will assist you in learning to swap the location of one key with another. It is particularly useful if a frequently used key is in a location that is difficult to reach.
To swap page keys, start by selecting the SETUP KEY. You can use the second key on the device frame, or the key labeled SETUP KEY. Most pages in Essence that can be customized have a SETUP KEY at the top right corner.
Look for this key at the top right of the page. When you select the SETUP KEY, you will see a prompt at the top of your screen that tells you to select the key you wish to modify.
A prompt at the top of your screen will appear that tells you to select the key you wish to swap.
At this point, you can select any key to modify. If you have chosen the SETUP KEY accidentally, just select any key on the page, and then OK at the bottom to exit programming.
Because you want to swap keys, you would select the key you want to swap. On the programming screen, look for the key that says, "SWAP PAGE KEYS."
Continue to follow the prompts on your screen to swap keys. Select the grey area at the top of the page to exit Swap Page Keys mode and return to the programming screen. Select OK again to exit the programming screen.
