Plug the charging tip into your device carefully and gently until the charging light begins to blink. (The charging light is on the front of the case by the icon of a lightening bolt. See pictures below.) Forcing the charger in too far can damage the unit. 
Charger plugged into a Vantage 
Charger plugged into a Vanguard 2 Battery Indicator: When you plug in the charger, the LED in the lightning bolt on the front of the case will flash. A rapid flash indicates fast-charging; a slow flash indicates that the battery is charged, but it will continue to trickle charge as long as the charger is plugged in. 
If the charging light does not blink when your charger is plugged in, we recommend testing your charger with a volt meter to verify that the charger has 15 Volts of output current. If you do not have a volt meter, you can take your charger to a local computer store, such as Radio Shack, and have it tested for free. If the charger tests out OK, and the charging light still does not come on, please call the PRC Service Department for further instructions, 1-800-262-1990. |
