My Device is Not Working Correctly - How do I Reset my Eco2?
If your ECO device is not working properly, PRC recommends trying the following resets in this specific order:
WARNING! Never remove the battery in this device to perform a reset.
If your ECO is not running as well as it usually does:
1a. Open the MAINTENANCE MENU in the Toolbox under Windows Power Managment and select the Restart Windows
option.
b. If your ECO software is not currently running, plug in your USB keyboard and select the Windows key. Use your arrow keys to scroll to Turn Off Computer then select Enter. Arrow over to Restart and select Enter again.
WARNING! Only in extreme cases should you need to do a reset. If selected improperly, resets could cause damage to your ECO. Resets should only be performed if the Hard Drive light is NOT blinking at the top of your device.

If Restarting Windows does not fix the problem:
2a. Press and hold the I/O button
for 15 seconds, then release. Press and release the I/O button to allow the device to reboot.
b. If the I/O button does not respond, gently press and release the side-button reset using the end of a straightened paper clip into the small hole on the left side panel. This should shut down the device and reboot the system.
If this does not fix the problem:
3. Only if all other resets have failed should you select the back-button reset. If selected improperly, this reset could cause damage to your ECO. If the above resets did not resolve your problem and ONLY if the Hard Drive light is NOT blinking at the top should you press the reset button on the back. This reset button is fragile and should be pressed lightly and released immediately. Do not use a sharp object to select the back reset button.
