How Do I Create a Page in the ECO2?

1. Go to the Toolbox.

2. Activate CREATE PAGE  Create Page Key in Toolbox.

3. Spell the name for your Page and select OK when you have finished.

4. Choose the location size of the page you are creating. If you want to copy the format of an already created Page select Copy from an existing page then select the Page you want to copy. You may want to select an already created Template page that has your basic tools already created.  Below is the 60 location Template page.

5. Select a key to program  from the Page.

6. Select Computer Speech or Recorded Speech

7. If you are using Computer Speech:  Select Spell Message, or Define Key Function and type in any text that you want your device to speak.

 Select OK when you have finished.

7a. If you are recording a message:  Select Record in the Type of Message box.  Press the RECORD MESSAGE button.  Now Press and Hold RECORD MESSAGE and speak your message clearly into the microphone.  Select Listen to Recording to hear your message.  If it sounds OK, then proceed.  If not, re-record your message.

If you want text displayed, select Spell Message, or Define Key Function and type in any text that you want to have displayed. (Remember to use INSERT TOOL if you want any tools to be part of the key contents.)  Select OK when you have finished.

8. Use Change Icon to put a different icon on your key.

Use Change Label to type in a new label. A label can contain up to 32 letters with no spaces. If you want a blank label, type a space instead of a word.

To change the key color press the Change Key Color key until you see the color you want.

If the key you have selected is in the first row or the first column of keys, you can add an Auditory Prompt to identify the key.

9. When you have finished with the key, select CHOOSE NEXT KEY TO DEFINE and repeat steps 5-9 until you have created your custom page.

10. When you have finished, select OK.
