Linking a Remote Control Page to the Remote Activity.

Here is an example of linking the Remote activity to theTV2 page. 

1. Create the page you want to link. This must be done first.  If the page is already created and your previous link was deleted, verify that the page you want to link to is still available by going into the Page Menu to find the page.  In this case, the page name will be TV2.

2. Open the Remote Activity by going to the ECO2 Tools key ECO tools key in the activity row., next select the Remotes key. Remote Icon in the activity row.

3. With the Remotes Activity open in your top row, select your Set-Up key Set up key. (#2 key on the top of the case)

4. Choose the key you want to link the page to.  We will select a blank key.  You can choose a key on the activity row that already has an assignment but is not being used.

Spell Message key to be selected.

5. Select Spell Message, or Define Key Function.  If you have software version 1.07 or higher, you will notice the main programming keys are now light blue to make programming easier.

6. You may spell a  message you want spoken or select “Clear display” to erase the previously stored message and not have any text appear with the key.

7. Select PAGE LINK.This is a picture of the Page Link Key located on a spelling page.

Yellow box for Set Page or Set Page Temporary.

A yellow box will appear that says Do you want the linked page to close after you select a key? Yes or No.  We will select No.  This will keep you on the TV2 page until you are ready to exit.  If you choose Yes, you will be taken to the TV2 page for one selection, then return to the Core page automatically.

8. Select the page you want to link to.  We are selecting the TV2 page.

This is how the text should look when the TV page is linked properly.

9. Your top line should read as follows. Select OK.

10. Change the icon and label if needed

11. Your completed programmed screen should look similar to the one above.

12. Select OK to exit, when you are finished and give it a try.
