ECO must have 1.07 Software to run ECOpoint.
Important information about your Software and ECOpoint:
If your device was shipped after August 20, 2009 and is serial number 1645E14 or higher, it will contain software version 1.07, which means your ECO is ECOpoint ready.
If your device was shipped before August 20, 2009 and if you have not ran the PRC ECO Recovery CD, then you will need to save your vocabulary and run this CD before attempting to use the ECOpoint.
If you have updated your device via the PRC website software upgrade using your flash drive, you will need to run the PRC ECO Recovery CD prior to using the ECOpoint.
If you have had recent repairs performed on your ECO through the PRC Service Department since August 20, 2009, your device has already been updated properly and is ECOpoint ready.
