Setting Up the ECO2 to use Wi-Fi
You must install an internet connection in order to use the internet. Whether you have internet access on your home computer, or have never had internet but want it now, call your internet service provider for information on setting up an internet connection for your ECO2.
If you have internet service for a home computer, your ECO2 will be the same as a second computer, like a desktop or laptop.
IMPORTANT NOTE: PRC is not responsible for the set-up of your wireless network.
If you ordered the ECO2 Wi-Fi capability at the time you purchased your device, follow the directions below.
If you ordered the ECO2 Wi-Fi capability after you purchased your device and have not yet activited your Wi-Fi option follow the directions below. In Step 4, when you select On, you will be shown a code. You must call the PRC Sales Department (800-262-1933). You will be asked to recite the code and you will then get a password to enter into your ECO. This will allow you to turn Wi-Fi On. Then continue with the directions.
1. Turn the ECO On.
2. Go to the Toolbox and open the MAINTENANCE MENU.
3. Select the Built-in Devices option. 
4. Select Wi-Fi to turn it On.
This option allows you to turn Wi-Fi Off when you are not using it. This will help save battery power.
5. Select OK to exit this menu.
6. Select OK again to exit the MAINTENANCE MENU.
7. Select the #6 button 
on the front of the case. This takes you to the ECO's internal computer screen.
8. Tap on or point to the Wi-Fi icon in the menu bar at the top right of your display screen.
9. You will see a list of available networks to connect to and their signal strength.
10. Select the network you want to connect to.
11. Select Connect.
Follow the directions on your display.
You may have to enter a network key or password.
When you see that you are connected, exit the menu and go to the internet to test the connection.
To Go to the Internet
Select the key.
Select GO TO CORE.
Select the ECO COMP key
Select one of the INTERNET keys. Internet Explorer or Firefox will both open the Internet when connected properly.
Important Note: Remember to turn off your WiFi option when not in use to conserve your battery power.
