How do I Reset to Factory Defaults in the Vantage/Vanguard?
If you want to erase all custom vocabulary and return your Vantage/Vanguard to its original state, you can do this by selecting Reset to Factory Defaults in the MAINTENANCE menu. All of your User Areas will be re-set exactly the way they were when you received the Vantage/Vanguard from PRC.
1. Select the Tools key.
2. Select the Maintenance Menu.
3. Select Reset to Factory Defaults.
4. You will see a warning message that says, "Are you sure you want to erase everything? Select YES to continue the reset. Select NO to cancel the reset.
5. The reset may take a few minutes on a Plus device.
6. Select OK to exit
7. Select Go To Minspeak to return to the main overlay.
IMPORTANT! If you have custom vocabulary in your device that you wish to keep:
Perform a memory transfer before you reset to factory defaults. If you do not do this, all custom vocabulary will be lost.
