Linking an Activity to Another Activity in a Pathfinder
Let’s say you would like to add a new choice of foods to the Food Activity. Today we will be adding an Ice Cream Topping activity, although you can create anything you want. You will first want to create that new activity and set it to the Hide option within the Activity Menu. (Please see How do I Create an Activity in the Pathfinder for further instructions if needed).
Now that the new activity is created you will want to link it to the Food Activity by doing the following steps:
1. Go into the Activity Menu
2. Select No. 6 - Modify Item Within Activity

3. Select the Activity to Modify
The FOODS activity will be gray because it is a dynamic activity linked to the core vocabulary. You can still modify activities that are gray.
4. Select the key you want to use as the link. If you wish to reprogram a key that already has information stored in it, select Clear Key Contents to erase all contents.

5. Select No. 1 - Spell Text for Message
6. Select INSERT TOOL

7. Type S in the keyboard (for Set Activity). This will take you to all the tools starting with a S quickly.
8. Select No. 7 - More Items until you see Set Activity

9. Select SET ACTIVITY
10. Select the Activity you want to link to, then Select OK

11. Change the Icon and Label as desired
12. Select OK twice to exit
Now you can select the Apple Icon to verify that your TOPPINGS activity is listed here. Select TOPPINGS to see your choices.
