"40 for 40" Program - Where Are They Now?
Francis received a Vantage through the PRC "40 for 40" program.
Francis turned twelve this year. She is becoming such an amazing teenager. She is speaking more and more every day. Her device has given her a voice! She can use many words that she was not able to use five years ago because she has heard them spoken on the Vantage. Franny can make you laugh with her actions and her words, but what she likes to do is make her device laugh, which totally makes me laugh more.
She is such an amazing kid and she can reprogram anything (let's just say that her device has been a great help in that area too), talk to anyone (even if she won't touch them or look them in the eye), and tell people what she needs.
She's come a long way from that little girl with the bow on her head whose first words were "I WANT RED CANDY PLEASE." She is very cool!!
