Renee Paratore, M.A., Ed. earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the State University of New York at New Paltz. She completed her Master's Degree in Education and Human Development at The George Washington University in Washington, D.C. She has over 8 years experience working within the public schools. She worked with a variety of students from grades PreK-12. She taught reading, writing, spelling, and math to students with a variety of special needs. In her most recent position, she was the Homebound Teacher for Special Education. She got interested in AAC when one of her students she worked with used a device. She was very impressed with what this particular student was able to do and how well she was able to communicate. She has worked with a variety of professionals such as SLP's., O.T.s and special educators.

PRC maintains a regional network of AAC professionals who work in a part-time or per diem role to assist you in the processing of exploring, obtaining and implementing your communication aid. These regional staff are directed by our National Service Managers and supported by our convenient e-Training programs and our Customer Service and Technical Service staff.
