Vantage/Vanguard PASS (PRC Application and Support Software) software allows you to create, modify, and save vocabularies, then load them into your communication aid. You can also use the PASS to create support materials; cheat sheets, manual boards, vocabulary lists, and so on. With PASS, AAC support professionals can work on their client's device contents without needing to have the device present.

Works with Vantage/Vanguard software version 5.00 and up. You can load older Vantage/Vanguard MTI files into the PASS software but you can not load it back into a Vantage/Vanguard unless it has software version 5.00 or newer.

The Developer's Assistant contains a Vantage Emulator. This means that when you open up the Developer's Assistant, you will see a copy of the Vantage screen on your computer monitor that looks and runs almost exactly like the PRC Vantage/Vanguard devices. The biggest difference between the emulator and the Vantage is that the Computer Pages, Computer Activities, IR and some of the Selection Techniques will not work from the emulator.

The Developer's Assistant also offers some new features that you will learn about in the manual.
