A number of people who use PRC communication devices serve as ambassadors for us at conferences, camps and other places where people want to see successful augmented communicators.
What is the ambassador program?
The ambassador program is an opportunity for people who use PRC communication devices to talk to AAC professionals and other AAC communicators about their experiences. This includes participating in conferences, exhibits, and giving presentations.
Do communicators have to "qualify" to participate?
Yes, they need to complete a small application form and give us an essay of why they would like to be an Ambassador. Once the application form and essay are received we conduct an interview over the phone. This gives us an opportunity to get to know them and determine where to best utilize their skills.
Do you have to be a great communicator to participate?
Absolutely not! While some people think we only promote our best communicators, ambassadors are normal everyday people, and our products just bring out the best in them. No matter what a person's ability, we want people to see that they can communicate using Minspeak.
